Join us for this edition of In the Spotlight, the monthly series of lectures organised by the Institute of Biology Leiden. Every month two IBL researchers will talk about their work and share with us the ins and outs. The speakers for this edition are:
15:30 Tim van Leeuwe
Tim will talk about classical genetics and CRISPR/Cas9 technology as a happy couple to characterize an Aspergillus niger cell wall mutant.
16:00 Annebelle Kok
Annebelle will elaborate on the effects of noise on predator-prey relationships in a marine environment.
Both presentations will be held in English.
From 16:30 there is room for bites, drinks, and chats during the Spotlight Drinks and Nibbles.
