On the occasion of the publication of a Special Issue of Diplomatica, A Journal of Diplomacy and Society, you are warmly invited to attend a public roundtable with the editors Prof. Monica Baar and Dr. Paul Van Trigt.
This Special Issue, addresses the theme of ‘International Days at the United Nations’ thereby traversing both the fields of UN and human rights history, and the often neglected histories of international observances and their causes and actors. Imaginatively pitched, and persuasively argued, this set of essays highlight new research from a range of early-career to established historians working in global contexts and with challenging archives.
The discussion will be chaired by Diplomatica’s Editor in Chief, Prof. Giles Scott-Smith and Prof. Alanna O’Malley will provide a short commentary.
