The 2nd edition of SCOLAS (Student Conference in Latin American Studies) will take place on June 19th, 2019.
The SCOLAS conference is organised by the Latin American Studies programme of Leiden University, for undergraduate and postgraduate students who want to present their research for a multidisciplinary and international audience. SCOLAS is held annually and its main goal is to provide an academic debate for young researchers from all over the Netherlands and abroad.
With three keynote speakers from different areas of study (Linguistics, Cultural Analysis, History & Public Policy), and with many student talks from the same fields, we strive to offer an open and informal environment to inspire BA and MA students, as well as PhD candidates, to share their own research.
Oral and poster presentations are warmly welcome! Presentations (10 min.) must be in English, Portueguese or Spanish.
You can submit your abstract (max. 300 words) here.
Deadline for abstract submissions: 20/04/2019
