Data Management & Dataverse workshop

Monday 17 June 2019
University Library
Witte Singel 26-27
2311 BG Leiden

This workshop is organised for all LUCL staff members to introduce Dataverse. Dataverse is a storage and archiving facility offered by DANS Easy. The LUCL data storage protocol states that research data must be uploaded and archived in Dataverse upon completion of a project. This workshop touches upon data management and open science questions from the linguistics perspective. We will discuss what data is to be uploaded in Dataverse according to the protocol, when and how to do this.

Target group

All LUCL researchers who collect data and/or supervise or manage projects in which data is collected.

Workshop leaders

The workshop is organised by the LUCL and the Centre for Digital Scholarship (CDS). The CDS provides general support for data management for all faculties and delivers tailor-made data management training for new LUCL PhD students once a year.

LUCL: Lab Managers Dr. Andreea Geambasu and Dr. Leticia Pablos Robles

CDS: Michelle van den Berk MA and Dr. Fieke Schoots

IFZ: Max van Arnhem and Rob Goedemans
