Second Leiden Antiquity Network Event
On Wednesday 8 May 2019, the Second Leiden Antiquity Network Event takes place. The purpose of this event is to bring students, alumni and teachers together, in order to exchange experiences and renew friendships. The event is organized by the BA Ancient Near Eastern Studies, the BA Greek and Latin Languages and Cultures, and the (Res)MA Classics and Ancient Civilizations.
Luuk Huitink (Classics) and Miriam Müller (Egyptology) will present their current research. Four alumni will tell us about their jobs and their experiences on the jobmarket. Finally there is a ‘speed date’ between alumni and students, who wish to hear more about post-graduate life and experiences on the jobmarket. Of course we will close the meeting with drinks: during the ‘borrel’ you will have ample opportunity for meeting up with old friends, teachers, and current students.
