On 5 May, the 80,000 visitors to the Liberation Day Festival in The Hague will have the chance to learn about the 444-year-old Leiden University during different interactive activities on the Malieveld and in the House of Representatives.
Come and join us!
As well as pop concerts, you can also attend a range of talks, debates, exhibitions and other cultural activities. On the Malieveld you can take part in the silent disco, where you listen to music via headphones, interspersed with short 'Science talks' by Leiden professors (in Dutch), or you can play lifesize Four in a Row. There will also be fun activities for the children. Leiden University is also organising pop-up lectures in the House of Representatives (in Dutch) on 5 May on the theme of '100 Years of universal suffrage'.
For young researchers
For young researchers there are fun-filled experiments, you can make your own ice lolly, play Connect Four and Electro, and colour fun couloring sheets.
