Location

Does your work relate to Africa and are you based (partly) at the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs?

We would like to invite you for a networking event to share your expertise and interests and explore opportunities for new collaborations. This event is part of the larger networking strategy of the Leiden African Studies Assembly (LeidenASA), which already connects over 100 researchers from different parts of the University as well as the Erasmus and Delft Universities.

Beyond networking, however, we would also like to use this meeting to discuss how to put Africa on the FGGA’s strategic agenda. We would like to discuss ways to include African studies in this strategy to the benefit of our research and outreach in the years to come.

Interested? Please join us on Tuesday 30 April! Each participant will be asked to give a 5-minutes pitch of your own work, followed by plenary discussion of synergies and future agendas.

You’ll be welcome to continue the discussion afterwards over drinks in the Brasserie Campus.
