Which two young scientists will give the best three-minute explanation of their research and get to represent Leiden in the national final? Come and watch the FameLab heats on 7 March. An afternoon that will take you on a whistle-stop tour of science!

About a dozen young scientists from Leiden University will give a presentation – no more than three minutes long – on their research. PowerPoint and video are banned: they can bring just two props with them. Who can seize the audience’s attention? Two will go through to the national FameLab final.

After the presentations and the jury’s decision, there will be a reception for the audience and contestants. Entry is free, but please register in advance. The presentations will be in English.
