Drinks for Humanities Alumni in Brussels
Save the date! On the day that Leiden University celebrates its 444th birthday (‘Dies’), we’re organizing drinks for our alumni in Brussels. Together with Dr. Maxine David and Dr. Matthew Broad, we would like to welcome you to our alumni event. Dr. David and Dr. Broad will both give a short lecture. After that, there’s plenty of time for networking drinks, meeting old friends and making new ones. We would love to meet you on Friday, February 8!
Work visit at NATO
On February 8, in the afternoon, there will also be a work visit at NATO’s Headquarters. There is room for a maximum of ten alumni from the Faculty of Humanities (and ten students). Registration for the NATO visit is closed. Participating alumni have received a confirmation.
The permanent Dutch NATO representative will be happy to receive us. Mr Eric Povel (Leiden University alumnus of Legal Political Sciences) will introduce his work at NATO and then two delegation employees will explain the Dutch dossiers, the collaborative relationship with The Hague and the organisation of the permanent representatives themselves. The working visit will take approximately 2 hours. The working language during this meeting is English.
