The Netherlands is facing enormous challenges: How do we create an inclusive labour market? How do we deal with the transition to a cleaner economy? And how do we make sure this happens in a sustainable and economically viable way? During this conference we will look for social, sustainable and local answers to global challenges.
Due to ‘The Impact Days’ that take place on 15, 16 and 17 November, the municipality of The Hague, together with the Haagse Hogeschool and Leiden University will organise a conference on social entrepreneurship. With their impact-first mentality they are becoming increasingly important players in the transition to a more social and sustainable economy.
At the conference Loes Nijskens (KplusV) will talk about the current state of social entrepreneurship in the region of The Hague, followed by presentations by social entrepreneurs Henk Velders (De Prael The Hague) and Bart de Bart ( Studying & Working on Measure). In addition, students will present their own start-up plans for a social enterprise. The event will take place at Wijnhaven from 13:30 to 15:30, after 15:30 you can stay for a drink at café Wijnhaven.
