On Wednesday 31st Ocober LIACS hosts the Latin America Symposium on Big Data at the Snellius Building. Besides a variety of speakers from Leiden University, lecturers from Brasilian universities and companies are welcomed to speak about the application of big data in their research fields. From humanities to archaeology and from biology to data science. The symposium includes demonstrations with Virtual Reality and video walls.
