From improved patient-doctor communication to reduced health care costs
We all know the phenomenon of placebo's: placebo's can, for example, be pills, that contain no active substance, but do have a positive effect on the treatment. This is also called the placebo effect.
Are you interested in the placebo effect, how this effect can be used, and what positive effects this can actually have when used in treatments? These and other questions will be discussed at the 'Clinical implications of placebo effects'-symposium. Experts in placebo research will talk about recent research findings.
