The Europa Institute, in the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair on Mobility and Security, held by Dr. Jorrit Rijpma, organizes a young researcher workshop on 28 and 29 June 2018 at Leiden Law School.
Young scholars working in the field of Justice and Home Affairs are invited to reflect on the theme of “Mobility and Security in Europe: accommodating change and upholding values” . They are invited to submit papers that engage with the changes in law and politics governing mobility within and across the borders of the EU in the wake of the refugee crisis and terrorist violence. Call for papers

How has EU activity influenced the relationship between the EU, the outside world and its Member States? What has been the effects on individuals, both EU citizens and third country nationals?
