Content in the language classroom (in higher education)

The language learning resource centre at Leiden University organizes a one-day conference on how to integrate and use content in the language classroom. The main goal is to share current findings and best practices on this topic, with a focus on higher education. The conference hosts:
- Workshop by Rosie Tanner & Tessa Mearns on CLIL (content and language integrated learning) in practice
- Invited keynote by Oliver Meyer (Mainz University) on Deeper Learning and Pluriliteracies: Growth in Higher Education and Implications for Course Design, Assessment and Research.
- Practical and research-oriented presentations by Vicky Alcalde, Olja Karmanova, Lissan Taal, Bert Le Bruyn, Deborah Yapp, & Taalmuseum.
