This summer our friend and colleague Ahmad Al-Jallad will be leaving Leiden for a post at Ohio State University in Columbus. On the 25th of May from 14.00 till 17.00 we are organizing a farewell symposium in his honor. The talks will cover some of the linguistic and epigraphic topics that Ahmad’s energy and enthusiasm helped flourish during his years working at LIAS and LUCL. After the talks everyone is invited to join for drinks where there will be opportunity to bid Ahmad farewell and congratulate him on this new and exciting step in his career.
