Later this year Leiden University’s quality assurance system will be assessed in a so-called Institutional Quality Assurance Assessment (Dutch: Instellingstoets Kwaliteitszorg, ITK).
In preparation for this assessment, the University has organised several meetings to gather input on education quality at Leiden University. This input will be used for the evaluation report that the University has to submit. In addition to the original four meetings planned in Leiden (in Dutch) the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs in cooperation with the colleagues from Academic Affairs has added a meeting in The Hague and in English to ensure that the experiences and input from Campus The Hague are also included in this important report. The topic is highly appropriate for students and staff studying and working at Campus The Hague:
The impact of internationalisation on education quality:
What are the positive effects of internationalisation on the quality of education and what may be negative effects? Which changes does internationalisation require in terms of teaching, professionalization and student supervision? To what extent is Leiden University meeting these goals?
Come and join us on Wednesday 4 April from 13:30 to 15:00 hours in the Living Lab (Schouwburgstraat), for coffee, tea and muffins and share your views in a highly interactive session. Both staff and students are encouraged to participate.
For planning purposes, please fill in the registration form using this link. There is also an option to register for only part of the time. If there are specific topics that you would like to discuss, you can suggest them in the form.
