Invitation Guest Lecture: “An Antinationalist Anticolonialism: Politics in French West Africa, 1945-1960."
The research programme Colonial and Global History 1200-present and the BA programme in International Studies of Leiden University are very pleased to invite you to a guest-lecture of Frederick Cooper, professor of history at New York University. Professor Cooper is a world renowned historian in imperial, labour and African studies. The lecture is titled: “An Antinationalist Anticolonialism: Politics in French West Africa, 1945-1960”.This is a unique opportunity to hear him talk about the subject and ask him your questions.

The lecture is open to the public, students and staff. It will take place on Tuesday 13 March 2018 at 17:00, room 2.02 in Wijnhaven, The Hague. Registration is not necessary. Doors close at 17:00, so be on time!
