Always wanted to know what is like to be an investment banker in the Life Sciences sector?
On Tuesday October 31, Frederik Gorter de Vries (8 years experience in investment banking, specialized in Life Sciences) and Jan-Willem Plomp (2 years experience in investment banking, specialized in Life Sciences) of Dutch investment bank Kempen will give a lecture on what it is like to work in investment banking after a technical study (both are Leiden University alumni and former SBB students). During a 30-40 min lecture they will touch upon Kempen as a company, what investment banking in the Life Sciences sector is all about and what your opportunities and day to day activities would be as an intern or a first year analyst in one of Kempen’s Life Sciences teams. After the lecture there will be plenty of time for all your questions concerning investment banking, the Life Sciences sector or anything else you would like to know.
