Academics, practitioners, and students will engage in a debate about the differences between good governance in the East and the West. Many assumptions and cliche-type images exist about how politicians, public servants, and citizens behave and interact in both regions, but to what extent are these supported by research evidence?
Can good governance exist without a Western democracy and free press, and how does it look like?
What can both regions learn from each other and how can we strengthen research and teaching collaboration in what many call 'the Asian century'?
Due to great interest you can unfortunately no longer register.
