International Humanitarian Law in Theory and Practice

Monday 10 July 2017 - Saturday 15 July 2017

From 10 to 15 July 2017, the Grotius Centre will host its second International Humanitarian Law Summer School in The Hague, in cooperation with the Netherlands Red Cross. This unique programme aims to give a broad overview of the laws of armed conflict and gives opportunities to test the acquisition of knowledge through interactive exercises. During the week, the participants will be addressed by renowned IHL academics and practitioners. The summer school is opened to students and professionals who would like to acquire a general knowledge of International Humanitarian Law.
