Dr. Lan Song of Elsevier will give a talk on the journey of scientific publishing. Specific topics that she will cover in her presentation are:
- How to avoid desk rejection, and tips for writing scientific articles.
- The value of peer review, and what your role is in that.
- Insight in how Elsevier identifies potential editorial candidates and how you can be involved in international journals.
After the presentation there is time to discuss with Dr. Lan Song and and get answers to all your questions on how to get your articles published.
The potential audiences include young researchers, Postdocs, PhD students, and MSc/BSc traineeship students who are starting to write their first paper. So it is open to RISE-members and beyond, females and males.
