On Thursday 22 June the Institute of Public Administration in association with ScienceWorks will organise the congress ‘Design of Evidence-Informed Policy'. Central in this congress is the interaction between knowledge and policy and focusses on the question of how science, knowledge and research can be utilized to achieve qualitatively better policies.
During the congress participants will research how knowledge-institutions can more effectively respond to policy needs and what the state itself can improve in this regard. In addition, the focus will be on the question of how frameworks can be developed for the substantiation of policy and politics.
The programme starts at 9:30 am (walk in from 9:00) with a welcome by Sandra Groeneveld, Professor Public Management. Furthermore, from the Department of Public Administration, Prof.dr. Bernard Steunenberg and Dr. Dimiter Toshkov will lead workshops.
