Psychological and Neural mechanisms

In this talk, I will discuss my recent paper on the psychological and neural mechanisms associated with effort-related cardiovascular reactivity and cognitive control. This paper presents an integrative approach highlighting the role of the dorsal anterior cingulate cortex in the production of effortful cognitive processes and effort-related cardiovascular reactivity. More broadly, this integrative approach will be discussed in the light of various self-regulatory processes.
