Eighth International Air Law Moot Court Competition in Malta

The Eight International Air Law Moot Court Competition took place from 6-9 April 2017 in Malta. This year the International Institute of Air and Space Law of Leiden University in the Netherlands and the Sarin Memorial Legal Aid Foundation joined forces with the Maltese Ministry of Tourism and the University of Malta, with the purpose of organising the eight edition of the moot court. We have had 19 teams from universities of 15 countries competing. The following countries participated in the moot court, that is Australia, China (2 teams), France, Greece, India (3 teams), Indonesia, New Zealand, Poland, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, The Netherlands, Ukraine (2 teams), U.A.E. and the United States of America.
The winners of the International Air Law Moot Court 2017:
Winner of the competition National University of Singapore, Singapore
Runner up West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, India
Best oralist Mr. Mykhailo Soldatenko, National university of Kyiv – Mohyla Academy, Ukraine
Best memorial applicant West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, India
Best memorial respondent West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, India
