It is with great pleasure that we announce the first PCNI lunch seminar of 2017.
On Monday the 20th of March Dr. Heidi Vad Jønsson, who is a visiting scholar from the University of Southern Denmark, will give a presentation entitled: Social Rights in Universal Welfare States in the Age of Modern Migration: Perceptions of Migrant’s social rights in Denmark, 1962-1998.
Heidi Vad Jønsson is an assistant professor in political history at the University of Southern Denmark. She has a proven record of active participation in interdisciplinary research and teaching in Scandinavian welfare and immigration policy, and in 2015 received the annual Danish Labour History Award for her research on the political history of immigrant integration in Denmark. Over the years she published her research in several journals, participated in and organized conferences, and established an international and interdisciplinary network for young scholars (WelMi).
All PCNI staff members are welcome to lunch seminars. Participants who are not a member of the research group, should inform the organizers Anne Heyer and Diederik Smit in advance. It is a brown bag meeting, so feel free to bring your lunch.
