RIO Trip 2017

Sunday 5 March 2017 - Friday 10 March 2017

The RIO Trip 2017 (Reis Internationale Organisaties) is the annual study trip of the LL.M. programme European Law to the European Institutions in Strasbourg, Luxembourg and Brussels. It is packed with visits to institutions, where students meet with and listen to many EU and ECHR officials, lawyers and judges. A visit to a law firm is also included.

As such it is an excellent opportunity to orientate on a career in EU law, and to learn about working for an institution first-hand. It is also a great way to get to know your fellow students: the evenings are free for social activities. RIO 2017 is scheduled from Sunday 5 March 2017 until Friday 10 March 2017. This is in a free week, and students do not miss any classes.

If you would like to join the RIO trip from 5-10 March 2017, apply by filling in the registration form by 22 December 2016Unfortunately, due to restrictions imposed by the institutions, the maximum of the group is 35, with some seats reserved for February students. In case there are more applicants than spaces, names will be drawn from a (digital) hat, to ensure a fair distribution of available places.

Your registration is only completed once you have filled out the registration form. By submitting this form, you confirm that you will join if you are selected, and that you are able to bear the participation fee of € 300 per student.
