Speaker is Sebastian Remøy, President of Public Affairs and Head of Trade and Competition at Kreab, a leading international consultancy firm and the largest financial regulation firm in Brussels that covers areas as wide as environmental regulation. Kreab works with clients in, amongst others, the Netherlands, Brussels, the London ‘City’ and the United States such as Goldman Sachs. Sebastian Remøy’s expertise is in European and EU trade affairs, as he currently serves as Co-chair of the Brexit Working Group at the Transatlantic Business Council where he assesses implications of Brexit on the transatlantic business community. He also served as President of the European Free Trade Association Staff Association and as Senior Officer at EFTA where he coordinated input from the EFTA states to the EU on Internal Market development and the Lisbon Strategy. In one of his current projects at Kreab, he is working with a Dutch branch of a Japanese company in the electronics industry. Before joining Kreab, Sebastian Remøy worked as Trade Official for the European Free Trade Association, for the US Trade Administration, the U.S. Embassies in London and Oslo, the Washington Congress Trade Policy United and for Centre for Strategic and International Studies. Sebastian Remøy holds degrees from University of Sussex, Nottingham Business School at Nottingham Trent University and Volda University College.
