Life with Alex is a compelling documentary about non-human cognition, language and learning. Alex, one of the most famous African Grey parrots, possessed more than 100 vocal labels for different objects, actions and colors, he could count object sets up to six and he used human speech to convey how he thought and felt. Alex's accomplishments changed what we know about how animals think.
