This fourth session of the academic year 2016/2017 will be chaired by Thomas Mareite. 
A presentation will be given by Léjon Saarloos: 'A hunger for truth': desire and temptation in late Victorian science.
Comments will be provided by Lauren Lauret (PhD) and Felicia Rosu (expert).

Following the seminar drinks will be served in the Koffiekamer of the Johan Huizinga Building (ground floor). 

All attendants will be invited to take part in the discussion, PhD candidates in particular. Instructions will be in English. Main goal of the Graduate Seminar is to examine issues and questions regarding historical research which is or has been conducted at the Institute for History. All staffmembers of the Institute for History are invited. Discussions are meant to generate useful and stimulating input for all attendants. In order to prepare for the sessions participants are recommended to read a text which is distributed prior to the sessions.
