Research on spatial heritage is scattered over many academic disciplines, such as architecture, architectural history, archaeology, urban history, landscape studies and heritage studies. These topics are taught throughout the Randstad at a range of different universities with foci in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Technology.
The Centre for Global Heritage and Development, the Design & History research group at TU Delft, and the research institute CLUE+ organize the Re-scape Colloquium. This colloquium aims to bring together scholars to be inspired by experienced academics, to establish common language, theories, methodologies and practices and to establish the foundation for novel research approaches. For PhD students this means presenting their work in public, for graduate students this means discussing their thesis in interdisciplinary, thematic groups.
The Re-Scape Colloquium will be held alternatively in Delft, Leiden and Amsterdam.
The Colloquium on September 22 will be held at the VU, Amsterdam. Registration through Vera Weijers: email@example.com.
