Short Description of the PhD research

This study is about the work of Johan van Meurs (1903-1986), organist (der Aa-church, Groningen), organ advisor, expert and teacher in the times of the Organ reform, Orgelbewegung, Neobaroque and the historicizing movement. He was active in consultancy, inspection, commissioning and repair, and made a unique personal collection of organ dispositions as a vital link within historical organ research.
