The 14th session of the Leiden University Summer School on International Criminal Law will be held in The Hague from the 20th of June to the 1st of July 2016. This summer school combines its unique location in The Hague, the international City of Peace and Justice, with the academic expertise of Leiden Law School. It enables students and professionals from all over the world to engage in discussions on the prospects and challenges of international criminal justice.
The lectures, workshops and exercises will deal with all aspects of International Criminal Law, from substantive crimes (genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and aggression) to complementarity, modes of liability, the rights of the accused and the role of victims.
