Eurasian Empires Programme - final conference

Leading scholars in the field from all over the world will participate in this final conference of the Eurasian Empires Programme. Besides international scholars, many of the Eurasian Empires group's members will participate in the conference, either as presenters or in the role of chair and/or discussant. Interested members of the public are most welcome to attend the lectures and panel sessions.
Gülrü Necipoglu on Wednesday 15 June, with a lecture entitled 'Transregional Connections: Architecture and the Construction of Early Modern Islamic Empires'.
Nicola Di Cosmo on Friday 17 June, with a lecture entitled 'Climate and Eurasian Empires: What to Make of Proxy Data and their Historical Relevance'.
