A presentation will be given by Liesbeth Rosen Jacobson: ‘‘The Eurasian Question’ The postcolonial options of three colonial mixed-ancestry groups compared’.
Comments will be provided by Tristan Mostert (PhD) and Charles Jeurgens (expert).
Following the seminar drinks (borrel) will be served in the common room (Koffiekamer) of the Johan Huizinga Building (ground floor).
All attendants will be invited to take part in the discussion, PhD candidates in particular. Instructions will be in English. Main goal of the Graduate Seminar is to examine issues and questions regarding historical research which is or has been conducted at the Institute for History. All staffmembers of the Institute for History are invited. Discussions are meant to generate useful and stimulating input for all attendants. In order to prepare for the sessions participants are recommended to read a text which is distributed prior to the sessions.
