'How to write an excellent research proposal' 1.1
- Friday 8 April 2016
It is essential for researchers to be able to obtain independent research funding in order to advance in their career. This training course will provide you with both the tools and the opportunity to practice with writing or improving your own research proposal for an individual grant. It is possible to work on a grant proposal that you intend to submit (Rubicon, Veni or Marie Curie fellowship).
Target audience: (junior) researchers employed by Leiden University who plan on submitting a research grant for an individual grant, and that do not have experience with grant writing yet. Also open to PhD candidates (of Leiden University and the Leiden University Medical Center) in the last year of their doctoral research. It is a prerequisite to have a research idea that you can work with during the training.
The training consists of two sessions: April 8 and April 29.
