Symposium judicial review and human rights

On Wednesday the 6th of April the masters-student-associations Justus Lipsius and Res Publica will organise a symposium on Judicial Review of Human Rights. At 13.30hrs. dr. Paul Yowell – Oriel College Oxford – will give a lecture. Afterwards, there will be a possibility to participate in workshops. The workshops will be the following:
‘Against judicial review’- by prof. Andreas Kinneging.
(15:00 - 16:30)
‘The virtues of judicial review’ - by dr. Jerfi Uzman. (Group A: 15:00 - 15:45 or Group B: 16:00 - 16:45)
‘Balancing of interests: a task for the courts?’ - by dr. Ingrid Leijten. (Group A: 15:00 - 15:45 or Group B: 16:00 - 16:45)
