First Lecture

Title “Constraining the amount of dark matter in our Galaxy”
Speaker Elena Rossi (Leiden Observatory)

Elena is an assistant professor in theoretical astrophysics at Leiden Observatory. Her research focuses on studies of high energy phenomena around black holes. Current topics are: accretion disc physics, supermassive black holes, galactic Centre stellar dynamics, gamma-ray bursts.

Second Lecture

Title “Mind the time: daily rhythms in drug exposure and effect”
Laura Kervezee ( LACDR and LUMC)

Laura is a PhD student at the laboratory of neurophysiology at the LUMC and at the division of pharmacology at the LACDR. Her research focuses on the 24-hour rhythms in physiology and how these impact drug exposure and effect.
