In 2001, Jim O’Neill, from Goldman Sachs, launched the concept BRIC [Brazil, Russia, India and China] in Building Better Global Economic BRICs.What has triggered the cooperation of these countries and what is their impact?

The specificities of Brazil in the BRICS will focus on its role as a major producer of primary goods in the world market. Emphasis will be given to innovations that have allowed the country to increase its productivity, both in traditional crops – such as sugar cane and coffee – and in exotic products such as eucalyptus and soy.
