Media Technology (MSc)
The Media Technology master’s programme gives you the opportunity to broaden your horizon, develop new skills, expand and deepen your knowledge.
The Media Technology programme comprises research training projects to a total of at least 42 EC, including creating an innovative concept and presenting it at an exhibition, and the master thesis. You follow several compulsory courses (50 EC) and accent courses plus electives (28 EC in total).
Within the Media Technology curriculum a portion of the total credits can be obtained by following accent courses and electives. You select a minimum of two and preferably no more than three of the five accent courses offered. In addition, you follow elective courses. Throughout the academic year there are many electives available within different faculties and departments of Leiden University and the Interfaculty Art Science in The Hague. Students are also allowed to take electives in, for instance, Computer Science, Psychology, Art History, Linguistics and Philosophy.
