French Language and Linguistics (MA)
The master’s programme in French Language and Linguistics at Leiden University offers a wide array of courses covering theoretical and applied linguistics, including language acquisition, syntax, and semantics.
Please note: From September 2019 the programme will consist of the following three specialisations in which you will be able to focus on your area of interest:
Study the French language in different contexts
You will have the opportunity to analyse the French language from an academic perspective, as well as in the context of its economic or legal applications. The programme will also provide you with an understanding of how language and people influence each other.
