Information for Parents
Making the decision to go to university and choosing a study is not an easy one. Parents/guardians are a critical part of the decision-making process for a student. This section contains information relevant to parents/guardians of current and prospective LUC students.
Most of the communication when a student is coming to LUC, or is enrolled at LUC is directly with the student. However, we have compiled a few resources for parents, to provide easier access to updates, or locations where information can be found that is relevant to you, and can help you in supporting your child at LUC.
There is a lot of uncertainty during these times regarding the updates with Covid-19, and what this means for the futuer of your child at Leiden University College.
Leiden University Updates - includes all updates on admission, application and enrolling at Leiden University. LUC uses these guidelines, to then implement our policies that affect our college.
Getting started website - contains all the information for admitted students, including information about the practicalities of moving to The Netherlands.
Current students have access to information regarding updates on their programme, via the current student website. You must select the progarmme "Liberal Arts and Sciences: Global Challenges" on the top of the page in order to access information related only to LUC.
Additionally, updates regarding the Covid-19 situation for all Leiden University students - including LUC students can be found here.
LUC is not allowed to share any information with parents related to a student who is above 18 years of age. All communication goes directly through the students.
