Collaboration

Healthy University Leiden works closely with Dutch Healthy Universities and international partners.

Healthy Universities

The University and LUMC have been part of the international Healthy Universities network since 2018. This network supports its members to develop and implement a university-wide strategy for health, well-being and sustainability. It aims to create a robust movement among universities that are committed to creating cultures and environments that promote health, where people are supported to realise their full potential and where well-being is prioritised and increased. The network was founded with the aim of simplifying peer support, sharing information and guidance (best practices), encouraging research and development and working to make universities healthy institutions.

Dutch Healthy University Network

Nine Dutch educational institutions and University Medical Centres have come together to form the Dutch Healthy University Network (DHUN). The partners in DHUN share the practices that have helped increase well-being among their staff and students. The network was founded in 2019, and the Healthy University Leiden Coordinator is responsible for its administration.
