In your Studielink account you can follow the process of official registration at Leiden University. When your status for Liberal Arts and Sciences: Global Challenges states ‘Enrolled’ for the academic year 2022-2023, your registration is completed. The Central Student Administration will inform you via email on how to complete this process.
You will receive messages through Studielink, please read them carefully and check your ‘to do list’ regularly until your registration is finalised. If you get a message that ‘your personal details have not been verified’, ‘your education has not been verified’ and/or ‘to fill out payment details in Studielink’, please check the following website for additional information on what to do or view the FAQ section below.
Please go to the following website to see if you can get access to your Studielink account by following the steps. On this website you can also find the contact information for the Front Office Student Affairs which is the department that can help you with your Studielink problems.
If you receive this message no action is required as the message states: If you have already submitted an application for admission you may disregard this message. You have already applied for LUC before requesting enrolment in Studielink. Therefore, you do not need to take any action.
Only after you have submitted all required documents, will your personal details be verified by the central student administration of Leiden University. This is only the case if your personal details such as date of birth and official home address from the Dutch Municipal personal records database (BRP, previously GBA) cannot be obtained.
The personal details of most student have been verified after they applied to LUC The Hague. However, some students may receive an email stating that their personal details have not been verified yet. If you receive this message, please check the online application portal because the Central Student Administration of Leiden University indicated here why your details have not been verified yet and what action is required from you.
You can inspect your verification status under <Details> in your personal Dashboard in Studielink. Look under Verification of personal details to see whether your personal details have been verified, and if so, by whom. Once your details have been verified, you can no longer change them.
Most students have not graduated yet and will receive this message from Studielink. Please make sure to submit all the required documents as stated in your Conditional Admission Statement. After the receipt of the documents, the Admissions Office will confirm that you are unconditionally admitted and will make sure that the Central Student Administration is notified. They will then verify your education in Studielink.
Do keep in mind that the required documents are needed to verify your education and complete your registration for Liberal Arts and Sciences: Global Challenges at LUC The Hague.

All EEA nationals need to arrange the payment of the tuition fee in Studielink. Please indicate in Studielink how you intend to pay. If you wish to pay in instalments from a Dutch bank account but you do not have one yet, you will have to wait with filling out your details until you opened a bank account in the Netherlands.
All non-EEA nationals cannot arrange the payment of the tuition fees via Studielink. You will receive an invoice from the Financial Department stating the amount of tuition fee and the methods of payment available.
You do not need to do anything as it simply takes a little time before the student administration of Leiden University processes your statement and other documents. It can take a couple of weeks as the summer is the busiest time of the year from this department. Your status in Studielink will change after the documents have been processed and you have completed the tuition fee payment section.
