Canal Run

Leiden University and the annual Canal Run both have something to celebrate: 2019 is the year of the 44th Canal Run and the 444th birthday of Leiden University. Come and run with us on 5 April.

This year the theme of the medals, flyers and posters of the 44th Canal Run is the 444-year anniversary of Leiden University. To mark this special birthday, Leiden University is sponsoring the charities supported by the Canal Run. For every €4 entry fee, Leiden University will contribute a symbolic sum of 44 cents, the proceeds of which will go to Leiden charities.

Leiden University is taking part in the Canal Run and will donate 44 cents for every participant.
