‘Virtual Toast on the East Coast’

Following a successful gathering in late January on the West Coast, NL universities in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy in Washington DC and the Netherlands Innovation Attaché Network, invite Leiden alumni living on the USA East Coast to a collective: NL alumni ‘Toast on the East Coast’ virtual event on Thursday March 4th from 8:00 PM – 9.30 PM (EST).
The programme includes a welcome by the Dutch Ambassador to the USA, André Haspels and a short talk by Robbert Dijkgraaf, Director of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton.
Following the talk, participants will break out into separate virtual 'rooms' which will be an opportunity for UT alumni to hear a short update about the latest news and developments from Twente. Afterwards it will be time to raise our glasses together to the new year followed by a digital ‘borrel’ to (re)connect with fellow alumni in smaller groups.
Besides the Leiden University, the following universities will be your 'hosts' for the evening: Delft University of Technology, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Maastricht University, Nyenrode Business University, Radboud University, Rotterdam School of Management - Erasmus University (RSM), Tilburg University, University of Amsterdam, Twente University, University of Groningen, Utrecht University, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Wageningen University & Research.

9.30 pm End event with the possibility for some extended networking
