15.00-16.00
During your study you will wonder regularly what you will do “in the future” with all the knowledge and skills gained. What kind of jobs will fit that experience? What kind of employers will be looking for me? And what do I want? And even if you know (just about) what you are looking for, it isn’t that simple to find it. Where and how to start looking?
In this webinar we will discuss how to map chances and opportunities and how this can help you make effective choices. If you already have a clear(er) perspective on what you are looking for in a job, this workshop will help you identify interesting employers as a step towards getting into contact and applying.
13.00-14.00
Werk zoeken nu we allemaal thuis zitten is net even anders dan voorheen.
11.00-12.00
Dutch employment agency Randstad takes you through the up-to-date developments on the labor market. Programme advisor Manouk Agterberg discusses matters like current opportunities and ways to find a relevant part-time job during your studies.
14.00-16.00
If you are a non-EU student or graduate and you are thinking about (starting) your career in the Netherlands during your studies or after graduation, you might have a lot of questions about the official rules and regulations. Or about the habits and do’s and don’ts in the Dutch working environment. During this information session we will provide you with the most important information regarding the legal aspects for non-EU students and graduates and the specific cultural challenges of working in the Netherlands.
For this session we will invite an immigration lawer and an international alumni who managed to find a job in the Netherlands. After the session there is time to ask your personal questions as well.
11.00-12.00
Dealing with economic recovery, climate change, migration and international trade, EU officials work on issues that are high on the political agenda and affect the lives of more than four hundred million citizens.
As an employer, the EU offers a stimulating, dynamic and multicultural workplace, with a wealth of career and training opportunities. Join this event to learn more about a European career and the selection procedure for European officials. Take this chance to meet Andreas Zenthöfer (Head of Politics at the Representation of the European Commission in the Netherlands), Amber Scheele (EU Careers Ambassador) and some trainees to discuss what internships and career opportunities the EU offers and how to successfully apply.
11.00-12.00
Have you thought about your ambitions after graduation? It might help to get to know different work fields when deciding about your first steps unto the job market. In this event you will get to know what it is like to work at an NGO.
Are you thinking about changing the world for the better? Working at a NGO might just be your thing, so join the ‘Working at an NGO” event. During the event, several professionals working at an NGO, as well as students who interned at an NGO, will share their experiences with you, give you advice how to join an NGO and answer all your questions. They will share information on which skills are important to have, how they found their jobs and what their day looks like. Make sure you have your questions ready!
Confirmed speakers:
• Laura de Lange, Junior Fundraiser at SOS Kinderdorpen
• Fiona Dragstra, Regional Programme Coordinator at Both ENDS
• Lila Kasi, former intern Plan International NL
• Pablo Serrano Medina, former intern World Food Programme (Libanon)
