Join for lunch and an open discussion on gender-balance in mathematics!
Who: All mathematicians (irrespective of gender!)
This meeting has been initiated by EWM-NL (Dutch branch of European Women in Mathematics), who wishes to learn from the experiences of professional mathematicians in The Netherlands and see how they can make a di↵erence to the benefit of all.
Program:
- 12:30-12:45 Walk in with lunch
- 12:45-12:55 Introduce EWM-NL: mission, organization and activities
- 12:55-13:30 Interactive discussion session on gender-balance
- 13:30-13:50 Open question/suggestion round: what would you like to see changed?
- 13:50-14:00 Wrap up: identification of easy steps versus major diculties?
