Once every two years study association LIFE organizes a symposium with a theme related to the life sciences. This years’ theme is: Bioenergy – Engineering a Greener Future. On this day speakers from around the globe gather at Theater de Veste, in Delft to talk about their work on Bioenergy.
Prof.Dr. Jay Keasling has agreed to come and talk, but also our very own Prof.Dr.Ir. Mark van Loosdrecht will be presenting during this day. Some faculty members might recognize speakers like Dr. Jeff Lievense and Prof. Dr. Lee Lynd. However, other speakers may be unfamiliar, yet will also give very interesting talks. For example, Prof. Dr. Fraser Armstrong will present a lecture on the inspiration that enzyme active sites provide to promote the design of catalysts for efficient and renewable energy conversions. Not only is this symposium interesting for the LST students, but employees of the Applied Sciences faculties are most welcome to this event. The symposium will be held on the 10th of May in Theater De Veste, Delft.
We hope to see you there!
