Suliman Ibrahim is universitair hoofddocent privaatrecht bij Benghazi University, Libië en directeur van het Centre for Law and Society Studies (CLSS) in Benghazi. Momenteel is hij senior gastonderzoeker bij het Van Vollenhoven Instituut waar hij het project The Role of Law in Libya’s National Reconciliation coördineert, uitgevoerd door het VVI en CLSS. Suliman Ibrahim is gepromoveerd op het gebied van Rechten bij Lancaster University, Verenigd Koninkrijk, waar hij in 2008 is afgestudeerd.
